We welcome school visits in November for the Reception class September 2025 intake. Please phone the school office (01634 717120) to book a visit.

Inclusion

We recognise that certain groups in society can be disadvantaged because of unlawful discrimination they may face due to their race, sex, disability, gender reassignment, marriage or civil partnership, religion or belief, sexual orientation, age, or pregnancy and maternity.

We understand that, under the Equality Act 2010, we have a duty to:
• Eliminate unlawful discrimination, harassment and victimisation
• Advance equality between different groups
• Foster good relations between different groups

At St Nicholas CEVC Primary School we strive to support all children to enable them to achieve.

If you wish to discuss a specific Special Educational Need, Additional Need, Mental Health concern, Disability or Medical Need, please contact our SENDco, Mrs Gates on 01634 717120.

Our Governor with responsibility for SEND is Mr Wilson, who can also be contacted at the above phone number.

Our full SEND Policy can be accessed on this website (see SEND page).

Disabled children and staff

Where disabled children or staff join the school, they will be treated favourably and in accordance with the Disability Discrimination Act 1995 SEN and Disability Act 2001. Reasonable steps will be taken to ensure that disabled children and staff are not disadvantaged in comparison to other children and staff. For further information, the school’s Accessibility Action Plan is available on request from the office.
