Applying for a place at St Nicholas CEVC Primary School

If you are interested in sending your child to our school we highly recommend that you visit us and look around. Please phone the school office on 01634 717120 to make an appointment, an appointment can be made in the October before your child starts school.

Our local authority, Medway Council manages our admissions process. Applications and appeals need to be made direct to Medway council. Please click on this link for further information about this:

Medway Council Primary Admissions

Application forms or on line applications are usually available from the end of September for entry for the following September eg if your child is due to start school next September, forms will be available from previous September/October. Applications have to be submitted by January and you will be informed by the council if your application has been successful usually by the end of March.

If you are a regular church attender you may want to complete a Supplementary Information Form (SIF) to indicate that you are choosing us because you wish your child to attend a church school; the SIF’s are available from the school office. The SIF has to be signed by the vicar or priest at your church to confirm your regular attendance. The SIF will only be used if we are over- subscribed.  In the event of over subscription we follow Medway requirements and the details of this are in our prospectus.

You can register your interest in a place at our school even if your child is still very young. We will take your contact details and then contact you when it is time for you to apply for a place so that we can arrange a visit for you and help with the application process.

Do please look at our Prospectus and Guide which has lots of useful information about school times, breakfast club and after school care as well as information about uniform, the curriculum and teachers.
