Absence/Lateness Procedures
All absence is recorded as either authorised or unauthorised. Leave of absence can now only be granted in 'exceptional circumstances'.
Absence during the first two weeks of the academic year or during SATs week will not be authorised under any circumtances.
If a Penalty Notice is issued then parents must pay £60 per parent, per child within 21 days, or £120 per parent per child within 28 days. These regulations have been set by the Department of Education (Government) not the school.
When applying for leave of absence, please complete the form below with an accompanying letter explaining the reason for exceptional leave of absence.
